District Improvement Plan

District Improvement Plan

In accordance with the Texas Education Code, all school districts are required to develop a comprehensive plan to improve student performance. At Woodson ISD, this process is approached through collaboration, engaging both staff and community members to ensure that the district’s education plan reflects shared goals and priorities.

Each year, both district and campus improvement plans are developed to align with and support the state goals and objectives outlined in Education Code, Chapter 4.

At Woodson ISD, the district-level planning team is known as the District Improvement Team (DIT), and their work results in the District Improvement Plan (DIP). The Board of Trustees oversees the procedures of this committee and reviews and approves the plan annually, ensuring accountability and a continued focus on academic excellence.
