Woodson ISD Finance

Financial stability is essential to student success. We partner with campus leaders, teachers, and support staff to build and manage budgets that align with district goals. By analyzing revenue, monitoring expenditures, and optimizing resource allocation, we work to maximize the impact of every dollar for our students and community.

Our responsibilities extend well beyond budgeting. District finances oversees purchasing, payroll, accounting, grants management, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. With careful attention to detail, we ensure compliance with state and federal requirements as well as Board policy and generally accepted accounting principles. Accurate records and timely financial data help decision-makers plan responsibly and act with confidence.

Transparency is one of our core values. We believe taxpayers and families deserve clear, accessible information. On our website, you’ll find adopted budgets, financial statements, reports, and other resources that explain how funds are allocated and utilized. We welcome questions and feedback and are committed to responsive service.

As stewards of public funds, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of excellence, integrity, and professionalism. Our goal is straightforward: support high-quality teaching and learning in a fiscally sustainable manner so every Woodson student can thrive.
