Through strong partnerships with respected colleges and universities, we give our students a head start in higher education at no cost to them or their families.

Dual Credit with Cisco College

 

One of the hallmarks of Woodson ISD’s academic program is our Dual Credit partnership with Cisco College. This program allows high school students to enroll in college-level courses while still earning their diploma. The benefits are remarkable:

  • Students can graduate from Woodson High School not only with a high school diploma, but also with college credit hours that transfer directly to Texas universities.

  • Many of our students complete enough coursework to graduate with a full Associate’s Degree by the time they walk the stage — all at no cost to the student or their family.

  • Courses are taught by qualified instructors and delivered with the same rigor as on-campus classes at Cisco College, ensuring students are prepared for the next step in their academic journey.

This program gives Woodson ISD students a powerful advantage, saving them both time and money as they pursue higher education.

Expanding Pathways with McMurry University

 

Our commitment to opportunity doesn’t stop at dual credit. Woodson ISD is continually building new pathways for student growth. We have partnered with McMurry University in Abilene to offer our graduates the potential to earn a fully funded Bachelor’s degree.

This partnership reflects our ongoing pursuit of excellence and our dedication to preparing students for the future. By connecting our graduates to high-quality four-year institutions, we ensure that they have a clear, affordable path to continue their education and achieve their long-term goals.
